Unusual 9mm

Anyone recognise these?...they appear to be 9mm but are longer than normal pistol bullets

I'm thinking .35 Remington...maybe :-/

Don't ring any bells with me straight off. They look the right length for M1 carbine rounds but I've not seen any with that kind of double groove before.

You got any callipers you can measure the exact diameter with ?

I think William is right. Below is a picture of a complete 380 cartridge, showing the positioning of the top and bottom crimp marks where the projectile is held in the cartridge.

This would make sense as the 380 was standard service issue calibre for side arms in the British military ( Enfield No. 2 Mk I and Webley Mk IV pistols ).
