Identification Please

Post by BaldRick »

Hi there! I had what I consider to be a good day today, and I would appreciate a bit of knowledge on some of my finds please. I was searching on pasture farmland quite close to an abbey which as a monastery dates from the 12th century until Tudor Times, and is now a ruin,
I was using my CScope 6mx
I found what I think are 2 small cannon balls, of which one looks to be made of iron, and is about the size of a snooker ball, and the slightly larger ball is made of lead I think. There is also a rather large musket ball which I would also like to know, about what age are the balls please and from what weapons fired them. Thanks.
